Sylvia Ann Gann

Sylvia Ann Gann, 83, of Oakland, Florida, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024. Born in Covington County, Alabama, she moved to the Winter Garden Area in 1941 from Florala, Alabama. Sylvia was a 1959 Graduate of the Lakeview High School of Winter Garden where she played the clarinet. She was a Postal Clerk with the Winter Garden Post Office from 1981 through 2003. Sylvia was a member of the Eastern Star, and she Volunteered at the Heritage Center of Winter Garden. She loved BBQ Ribs, Candies and Sweets and her favorite flower was yellow roses. Sylvia felt blessed for her grandchildren and great grandchild. Sylvia is predeceased by her Daughter Terri Lee Stephens; and by Sisters, June Fleming and Vickie Anderson. She is survived by her Son, Dale Austin Butt, Jr. of Oakland, FL; Step-Sons, Ronnie Gann of Middleburg, FL and Joe Gann of Fleming Island, FL; Step-Daughter, Lisa Gilbert of Fleming Island, FL; Sisters, Melba Ard of Pensacola, FL and Shirley Ragan of Winter Garden, FL; Grandchildren, Leslee Stephens, Blake Stephens, Chloe Blanc, Carlie Gann, Luke Gann and Taylor Meyer; Great-Grandchild, Oaklee; and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Winter Oak Funeral Home of Winter Garden on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM with services beginning at 2:00 PM.
