Rodney A. Woellmer, 77, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024. Born in Moravia, New York, he moved to Leesburg in 1994 from Wasilla, Alaska. Rodney served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He is survived by his Wife, Patty Woellmer of Leesburg, FL; Sons, Danny Dorminy (Stacey) of Summerfield, FL and Mark Woellmer (Susan) of Leesburg, FL; Sister, Chrystall Perkins of New York; 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held at the Grand Island Baptist Church,13229 County Road 44, Grand Island, FL 32735 on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM till 11:00 prior to service. Memorial donations may be made in Rodney;'s name to the Grand Island Baptist Church.
