Robert Lewis Strickland

Robert “Bob” Lewis Strickland, aged 71, of Lady Lake, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Born in Kissimmee, Florida, Bob was a respected Owner/Operator of an Automobile Accessory company and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. His courage and dedication to his country are remembered with gratitude. Bob loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with his nephews—moments that brought him great joy and created memories cherished by his family. He was also an avid pool player who enjoyed friendly competition and the camaraderie it brought with friends and family. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Glenda Strickland, and their family: two sons, Sean (Ale) Coker of Blairsville, GA, and Devan Leavins of Tallahassee, FL; three daughters, Jaennae (Thomas) Riley of Leesburg, FL, Brooke (Zachary) Holcomb of Edgewater, FL, and Tonya (Clint) Young of Okahumpka, FL; a brother, Max Strickland of Winter Haven, FL; and five cherished grandchildren, Kierstyn Riley, Beckham Riley, Ava Coker, Skylar Coker, and another grandchild on the way. In recognition of his military service, Military Honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects.
