Robert "Bob" Dale Priest, age 80, of Eustis, Florida, passed away on September 30, 2024. Born in Eden Township, Licking County, Ohio, Bob relocated to Florida in 2010 from Clarksdale, Mississippi.
Until his last breath, Bob was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, as well as a devout Christian. Bob dedicated much of his professional life to public service, working as a Public Utilities Manager in Florida and Mississippi and being an active member of the American Public Power Association. His commitment to community extended beyond his career; he was deeply involved in his church, LifePointe Church, where he served as a deacon, worked with the youth, and traveled to multiple countries on mission trips. In addition, Bob was a member of the Yazoo City, MS, Rotary Club and participated in Community Theater in Sebring, FL and Yazoo City, MS, while also supporting School Theater productions across schools in Mississippi, building countless sets, showcasing his passion for the arts and connection to those around him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Marilyn Priest, their three daughters: Michele Priest, Staci Campbell, and Heather Walker, and sons-in-law Tommy Cambell and Matt Walker all of Eustis, FL. Bob is also remembered by his brother, Kenneth Priest of Willow City, ND, his grandson, Thomas Campbell and his granddaughter, Madeline Walker.
A Celebration of Life will take place at LifePointe Church, located at 3551 East Orange Avenue, Eustis, Florida, on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to share their memories. An online guestbook is available at www.hardenpauli.com.
