Robert "Bob" W. Hill, 73, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Born in Bucyrus, Ohio, he has been a lifelong resident of North Central Ohio. Bob was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving in Vietnam. Prior to his retirement he was an Electrical Engineer. Bob was very active in Veteran Causes. He enjoyed assisting other veterans with obtaining benefits. Bob was also well known for arranging to have the Vietnam Memorial Wall brought to Upper Sandusky, OH in 2005. That event still holds the record to date of 9280 registered motorcycles escorting the memorial for over 45 miles. Bob was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Amvets, and Moose Lodge of Upper Sandusky, OH. He also enjoyed Hot Rods and Custom Cars. He is survived by his Wife, Carol Hill of Upper Sandusky, OH; Mother, Sharlot Hill of Upper Sandusky, OH; Sons, Robert ``Bobby" Hill, Jr. of Alvada, OH, Troy Hill of Sycamore, OH, Greg Mohr of Gallion, OH; Daughter, Tina Swartz of Upper Sandusky, OH; Brother, Tom Hill of Upper Sandusky, OH; Sister, Stacy Taylor of Upper Sandusky, OH; Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Extended Family and Friends.
