Raul Martinez

January 25, 1957 — June 15, 2025

Eustis, Florida

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Raul Martinez, 68, of Eustis, Florida, who left us on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Raul was born on January 25, 1957, in the New York borough of Brooklyn, the second child to Raul Martinez, Sr. and Carmen Quinones Martinez. Raul made the journey to Central Florida in 2018, relocating from Manhattan. He dedicated many years of his life to serving as a Clerk with the United States Postal Service, where he touched the lives of many through his hard work and commitment. Raul also studied electronics and graduated from The PSI Institute where he earned his technical accreditation. He loved electronics and was an avid tinkerer and was often depended upon to repair things around the house. He was a natural comic who was very quick witted and often created his own versions of jingles. He was also a BIG Star Trek Fan and could recite entire lines from any episode. A science fiction fanatic, his pastimes included all things Sci-fi. We are sure he is already petitioning the good Lord for a role on the U.S.S. Enterprise. Raul is lovingly survived by his son, Christopher M. Martinez, of Oswego, NY; daughter, Brittney Harley of Manhattan, NY; two brothers, Victor Brancale of Ridgewood, NJ, and Rafael Martinez of Sanford, FL; two sisters, Carmen Martinez of Umatilla, FL, and Jeanette Martinez of West Palm Beach, FL; along with his cherished grandchildren, Elijah and Gabriel Martinez. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly Martinez. A Memorial Mass to honor Raul's life will take place at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM. For those wishing to leave condolences, an online Guestbook is available at www.hardenpauli.com. Arrangements are being made by Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Florida. Raul's spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
