Ramon Alvarez

Ramon Alvarez, 67, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025.Ramon was born in Brooklyn, New York to Cristina and Jesus Alvarez. He remained in New York until his Retirement in 2019 from the NYC Dept. of Sanitation, and then relocated to Leesburg, Florida.Ramon is remembered for his strong work ethic and deep devotion to his family. After retirement he found great peace and joy in his free time, either sitting at the beach watching the waves, going out on the lake, hunting, outings with friends, feeding squirrels, bird watching or simply enjoying his favorite Puerto Rican dishes. He cherished life’s simple pleasures and time spent with those he loved.Ramon is survived by his son, Raymond Alvarez, of Eustis, Florida; his daughter, Natalie Ault of Groveland Florida; his Son-in-law; two brothers, Jaime Hernandez of Jacksonville, Florida and Jesus Alvarez of Puerto Rico; four sisters, Isabel Acevedo of Groveland, Florida; Myrna Alvarez of Mascotte, Florida; Mercedes Fontnel of Clermont, Florida, and Jennifer Alvarez of Clermont, Florida; and his five Beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Alivia, Jordan, Sydney and Bryson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. Ramon will be laid to rest on Thursday, December 18th at Harden Pauli Funeral Home, 1617 South Bay Street, Eustis, Florida.Viewing will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Service from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.Private Cremation will follow.
