Patricia Ann Saxton, 72, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, with her family by her side. Patty was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, known for her kindness, willingness to help, and unique laugh. She was born in Painesville, Ohio to Lester and Sylvia Wyman. Following graduation from North Shore High School, she married the love of her life, Harley Saxton. Together they built a life in Palm Beach County, Florida. Patty loved spending time with her family and friends...camping, attending Bible Studies, and going on different adventures with friends and family. Upon retiring from Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation, she moved to Mount Dora, Florida, where she attended First Baptist Church of Mount Dora. Patty loved being retired, allowing her to spend more time with her grandchildren. She loved going to Grandparents’ Day, attending school programs, and going to sporting events that the grandchildren participated in. They were her pride and joy! Her adventurous spirit and infectious laugh will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Patty was preceded in death by her Husband, Harley Saxton, and brother-in-law, Rick Johnson. She is survived by her Son, Kevin Saxton of Eustis, FL; Daughter, Kelli (Keith) Palmer of Madison, OH; Sisters, Linda Johnson of Alachua, FL, Cindy (Robby) Frankenberg of Glasgow, KY and Debby (Richard) Pullen of West Palm Beach, FL; Grandchildren, Kevin Saxton, Christopher Saxton, and Kendall Palmer; and by numerous extended family and friends. Friends and family will be received Friday, June 27, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Tri-County Bible Church, in Madison, Ohio with service following at 5:00 pm. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville, Ohio on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 am.
