Mark Bernard Brogan, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, peacefully departed this life on July 27, 2025, surrounded by his family at his residence in Leesburg, Florida. He was born on December 9, 1957, in Buffalo, New York, to John and Joan Brogan, whose spirits he carried with him throughout his journey. A dedicated NYS Corrections Officer, Mark committed his life to serving his community, exhibiting unwavering strength and a profound sense of duty. His courage and integrity were hallmarks of his character, reflecting the values he embraced during his time of service in the US Marine Corps. He was a man whose heart beat for justice and whose actions spoke volumes about his commitment to the protection of others. Outside his noble career, Mark found joy in the simple pleasures of life. As a die hard Buffalo Bills fan, Mark had an infectious zeal for the game that brought his family and friends together. They created countless cherished memories filled with laughter and camaraderie. His passion for the Bills was only rivaled by the love he held for his family. Mark is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Molly Brogan, whose partnership with him culminated in a lifetime of shared experiences. Their love story, filled with kindness, support, and joy served as an inspiration to all who knew them. There was no doubt Mark had found his soulmate in Molly. Together, they raised two wonderful children: their son, Brian J. (Jaida) Brogan, also residing in Leesburg, and their daughter, Kelly A. (Keyton) Firestone of Grand Island, Florida. Mark's pride in his family knew no bounds, and his legacy will undoubtedly live on in their hearts. He is also deeply remembered by his brothers, the late John Brogan of Scio, New York; James (Kathy) Brogan of Eustis, Florida; Michael (Cathy) Brogan of Fort Myers, Florida; Shawn (Diana) Brogan of Jamestown, Tennessee; and Scott (Lisa) Brogan of Longwood, Florida. Though Mark has left this world, the love he imparted and the warmth he brought into the lives of those he touched will forever resonate. As family and friends gather to honor his memory, they carry with them the echoes of his laughter and the lessons of his life. Mark Bernard Brogan may be gone from our sight, but he will never be forgotten, living on in the hearts of all who loved him. Go Bills!
