Marilyn Ava Vainder, 69, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024. Born in Fyzabad, Trinidad, she moved to Mount Dora in 2011 from Glen Oaks, New York. She was a Home Health Aid prior to her retirement. Marilyn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora, where she was also a Deacon and a member of the Choir. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 14 years, Morris Vainder of Mount Dora, FL; 2 sons, Craig Mohammed and Calvin Mohammed of Trinidad; 2 daughters, Marisa Young Lai and Crystal Little of Trinidad; son-in-law, Harvey Young Lai of Trinidad; brother, Victor Jute of Jamaica, NY; sister, Stella Jute of London, England; 9 grandchildren, Kyle Young Lai, Luke Young Lai, Jade Sirju, Maya Little, Ziva Little, Jarel Mohammed, Jearleen Mohammed, Jerriel Mohammed, and Jayke Mohammed; nephew, Ricardo Jute; and by numerous extended family and friends.
