Lynda M. Kulikowski

November 21, 1941 — December 7, 2022

Lynda M. Kulikowski, 81, of Tavares, Florida, died peacefully on December 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Lynda was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to John J. and Gertrude L. (Harris) Mascolo. She grew up in Avon, Connecticut, and was a 1959 graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy in West Hartford. She went on to marry her devoted husband of 61 years, Edward, and began a family. For the past 20 years, Lynda has called Florida her home, however, 30 years prior, she lived and raised her family in Bradford, Vermont, after moving there from Connecticut. Lynda was a lifelong collector and dealer of antiques and was affectionately known for her infectious laughter, care for others, and love of bingo and yard sales. She was an active member of the Anna Miller Circle of Elks Lodge 1578. Lynda enjoyed playing games and spending time with her friends. She especially enjoyed cheering on her many grandchildren at their various sporting events. Lynda treasured time spent with her large family, enjoying the holidays, camping, and showing her competitive side, exhibiting her savvy ability to beat everyone at card games. In addition to her adoring and cherished husband, Edward, she leaves two daughters; Lisa Bates, and husband Eric, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire, and Julie Kulikowski, of Washington, D.C., and one son, Michael Kulikowski of Essex Junction, Vermont. Lynda’s remaining family also includes a sister, Donna M. Isaac, and husband, George, of Ocala, Florida, and a brother, Harry R. Mascolo, and wife Kathleen, of Stamford, Connecticut. Additionally, she leaves nine grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Lynda was predeceased by a brother; John L. Mascolo, and a sister; Gail Stankiewicz. A Mass will be celebrated at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in Lynda’s name be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
