Lois Carol Krekling

Lois Carol Krekling passed away on January 18, 2024, in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Born on March 26, 1937, in Stoughton, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Clifford Weston and Marion Bjerke Weston. Lois began her career as a beautician, working in Stoughton, WI, Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. She later took time off to raise her children and provide a warm and nurturing home for her family. Once the children were old enough to attend school, she worked in the Ferndale, Michigan public school system until retirement. Lois relocated from Pleasant Ridge, Michigan to Florida in 1993. Throughout this transition, she brought her loving spirit to her new communities (Lake Griffin Harbor in Leesburg, FL, Royal Harbor in Tavares, FL and Blue Heron in Wesley Chapel, FL). She will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Surviving Lois are her devoted husband of 66 years, Glenn Krekling of Wesley Chapel, FL; daughter, Kathryn (Kevin) Ritchie of Wesley Chapel, FL; brother, Dennis (Sandra) Weston of Longwood, FL; brother, Rodney Weston of Stoughton, WI; sister, Jeanne (Lowell) Jacobson of Stoughton, WI; many nieces and nephews; and beloved friends. Their lives were forever enriched by Lois' presence. Lois was preceded in death by her son, David Krekling, in 2005. Lois will be remembered for her positive attitude and the gentle way she touched people's lives. Her memory will live on through cherished moments shared with family and friends. Lois will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
