Kristi Ann Dloughy, 40, of Altoona, Florida, passed away at home on September 6, 2025. She was born on December 22, 1984, and spent her life surrounded by family.
Kristi was deeply devoted to her mother and best friend, Nancy Dloughy, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Since the passing of her father, Gary Dloughy, in 1994, it had been just the two of them, and together they built a life filled with laughter, traditions, and unconditional love. Kristi and her mom were inseparable, whether they were watching wrestling, keeping up with their favorite soap operas, or simply spending quiet time together. They often found themselves thinking the same thoughts at the same time, a reflection of the deep connection they shared.
She was engaged to the love of her life, Tommy Heffner, and together they looked forward to their future.
Kristi will be lovingly remembered for her radiant smile, which could brighten any room. She cherished her friends and family, always finding joy in staying connected, especially through social media, where she loved keeping up with the people she cared about most. She also had a true passion for entertainment; Kristi loved watching wrestling, listening to music, and going to live concerts, where she found energy, excitement, and happiness.
Kristi experienced both joy and loss in her journey through life. She is preceded in death by her newborn twins, Summer Ellen and Robert Michael, whose memory was carried in her heart always; her father, Gary Dloughy; paternal grandparents, George and Helen Dloughy; maternal grandmother, Janice Wiesenberg; and uncle, Richie Dloughy.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy Dloughy; daughter, Caroline Feely; fiancé, Tommy Heffner; maternal grandfather, Arnie Wiesenberg, step-grandmother, Selma “Grand-Sam” Wiesenberg, paternal aunts, Joan Bronson and Patti Schwarz; maternal aunts, Linda Griffin, Amy Carter, Rebekah Feely, and Liz Butts; maternal uncle, David Wiesenberg, along with many cousins and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Kristi’s life was not without challenges, but she will be remembered for her kind heart, her laughter, and the love she held for her family. Above all, she will be remembered as Nancy’s beloved daughter and dearest friend; her constant companion in life. Kristi’s memory will live on through all who knew and loved her deeply.
A celebration of Kristi’s life will be held at Lake Eustis Christian Church, 315 E Orange Ave, Eustis, FL 32726, on October 25, 2025 at 10:00 am.
