Dr. Julian Dunaway Gordy Jr. 82, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021. Born in Columbus, GA to the late Julian D. Gordy Sr & Martha (Lindsay) Gordy. Dun, a US Navy Veteran always dreamed of being a cowboy while serving his Lord. After serving as Pastor in Millbrook AL, Dun and his beloved wife, Harriet joined New Tribes Missions where he served as the North West Representative based out of Baker City, OR. Although Dun traveled the world, his greatest joys in life were his children and his grandchildren. He is survived by his 2 sons, Michael (Wendy) Gordy, Springfield, OR, Thomas Bunten, Panama City Beach, FL; 2 daughters, Julieann Girello, Leesburg, FL, Kristie (Franz) Martens, Berlin, Germany; 2 sisters, Lindsay Hall, Panama City Beach, FL, Lila Campbell, Graceville, FL; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Franz Jr, Jenna, Matthew, Nathaniel, Kayden, Brooklynn; 2 great-grandchildren, Kassidy & Julian. He was preceded in death by his wife Harriet, his grandson Michael, and his son-in-law Joseph. There will be a graveside service at 3pm Central Time on October 9th at Riverside Cemetery in Marianna, FL.
