Joyce Eileen Welch, 82, of Grand Island, Florida, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024. Born in Berlin, Wisconsin, she moved to Lake County Florida in 1996 from Apopka, Florida. She was a manager with Vista-United Telecommunications Company (an independent telephone company for Walt Disney World) for 28 years prior to her retirement. Joyce was an active member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis, FL since 1996. Her service to the church included authoring the History Book of St. Mary's Parish. Joyce is predeceased by her Husband, Edward H. Poff; and Sons, Marvin J. Poff and John E. Poff. She is survived by her 2 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren; and by extended family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis, FL, on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, 218 Ocklawaha, Eustis, FL 32726, or your favorite charity.
