Joyce Virginia Lonsdale

Joyce Virginia (Braido) Lonsdale, 94, of Fruitland Park, Florida, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Born to the late Amerigo John and Rozalia M. (Wantuk) Braido, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Joyce and all of her siblings were 1^st-Generation Americans. Joyce moved to Umatilla in 1972 from Delray Beach, FL. She was an Office Clerk with the Lake County and Palm Beach Counties Government. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett J. Lonsdale; 3 brothers, Amerigo John Braido, Jr., Richard Amerigo Braido, Robert Harold Braido; and her sister, Alilia Ann Buckner. Joyce is survived by her 2 sons, Charles John (Jennifer) Lonsdale of West Palm Beach, FL, Richard Allen Lonsdale of Eustis, FL; daughter, Sharon Lee Hill of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 2 grandsons, Johnathan and Alex; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 3 nieces and 4 nephews.
