John Daniel Hurley

John Daniel Hurley, 58, of Mount Dora, passed away Tuesday December 9, 2025. Born in New Jersey on October 28, 1967 and raised in Juliette, Georgia, he moved to Apopka in 1986 and spent the majority of his adult life in Florida working as a expert roofer to support his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kim Masters Hurley; his two daughters Samantha Lee Hurley and Jesse Lee Hurley; and his four brothers and two sisters Greg DeGraw, Joey Santonastaso, Kelly House, Bo Hurley, Heath Hurley and Pauline Hurley, all of Georgia. An amazing husband and father, John worked hard every second to provide his family the life they dreamed of. He will be remembered not only for this but for his contagious humor and the warmth he brought into his home. We will forever cherish the time we were given.
