Jerry Martin Thompson Sr.

Jerry Martin Thompson Sr., 79, of Micco, Florida, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, he moved to Micco in 2016 from Leesburg, FL. Jerry was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving on the USS Kitty Hawk. Prior to his retirement, Jerry worked in management at Lucent Technologies. After retirement he was involved in property management. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his Wife, Julia Irene Thompson of Micco, Florida; Daughter, Melissa Smith of Palm Bay, Florida, Son, Marty Thompson of Lilliwaup, Washington,  Brother, Ronald Thompson of Sherwood, Arkansas., Sister, Deborah Hadsel of Sherwood, Arkansas,  Grandchildren Steven Thompson, Justin Langford, Zech Thompson, and Cristian Thompson and close family:  Son-In Law- Bert Smith,  Nephews: Marshall Lawrence, Mark Lawrence, Mitch Lawrence, and Bobby Hadsel friends.  Nieces: Terry Nelson, Julie Thompson, Carrie Thompson and Holly Thompson.  Memorial donations may be made to Gary Sinise Foundation, Florida Chapter.  www.garysinisefoundation.org/florida
