Jean Felter

Jean Schmidt-Felter, 81, of Leesburg, FL, beloved wife of Donald Felter, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2009 in the presence of loving family members. Born in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Agnes Schmidt. She attended Troy High School and worked at Behr-Manning where she met her husband Don. Jean was skilled at many crafts, including quilting, sewing clothes and knitting. She also had a passion for cooking and baking. Jean and her husband Don retired to Leesburg Florida in 1990 and had many great years of fishing, boating and life in the sunshine. She is survived by her husband Don of sixty-three years, her sister-in-law Helen Radigan of Troy; nephews Edward Radigan and his wife Linda of Tallahassee, FL; Donald Radigan and his wife Susan of Latham, NY; and Paul Radigan and his wife Marion of Troy, NY. She has many nieces and nephews, some of whom still reside in the greater Albany area. A private internment will take place in the Saratoga National Cemetery in New York.
