Hazel H. Spears, 93, of Eustis, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Born in Ozark, Alabama, she moved to Eustis in 1946 from DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a Homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church, Eustis (now known as LifePointe Church) and the Jr. Women's Club of Eustis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey L. Spears. Hazel is survived by her son, Harvey L. (Martha) Spears, Jr., Monticello, FL; 3 daughters, Betty J. (Larry) Miller, Eustis, FL, Rita S. (Boyd) Vereen, Lanesborough, MA, Helen M. (Dannie) Cordle, Eustis, FL; 2 sisters, Irene Pugh, Houston, TX, Joyce Rigsbee, Alamo, TN; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 3:00 PM. Interment will be at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 9:00 AM.
