Hazel G. Cannon

Hazel G. Cannon, 96, of Tavares, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026. Born in Houston County, Alabama, she moved to Florida in 1953 from Dothan, Alabama. She was a Citrus Grader for Golden Gem Growers of Umatilla. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the VFW Post 8087 of Eustis. Hazel is survived by her 2 daughters, Melinda Rich, Tavares, FL, Ann Ernst, Tavares, FL; half-brother, Mike Givens, Umatilla, FL; 2 half-sisters, Gail Curry, Leesburg, FL, Fran Tucker, Eustis, FL; 3 grandchildren, Tony McCullough, Mount Dora, Susan Rich, Pascagoula, MS, Janet Russell, Virginia Beach, VA; 4 great-grandchildren, Wayne, Bo, Evelyn, Hanna. A memorial service will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
