George Edward Hohman

George Edward Hohman, 98, of Eustis, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, in his home surrounded by family. Born in Dona Vista, Florida, he was a lifelong resident of Eustis, FL. George served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Munda and USS Midway. He spent his career working as a Service Director for Larry Hughes Oldsmobile and George Nahas Oldsmobile. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mount Dora. George was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Norma Grant Hohman, and a daughter, Anne Marie Griswold. He is survived by his 2 sons, Richard W. Hohman, Eustis, FL Stephen Hohman (Rita) Kennesaw, GA; 3 daughters, Cheryl Diane (Ron) Davis, Atlanta, GA; Lorrie (Eric) Goldsmith, Deer Island, FL; Cindy (Andy) Zimmerman, Astatula, FL; 11 grandchildren, Valerie, Brierly, Emily, David, Douglas, Fred, Hank, Hunter, Hannah, William and Anne Marie; 2 great-grandchildren, Ian & Jane. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mount Dora, on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
