In loving memory of Francis Lee Carmean, known affectionately as Lee, who entered this world on February 21, 1941, in Muskegon, Michigan. He peacefully departed on May 22, 2024, in Tavares, Florida. Lee led a life filled with remarkable experiences and profound connections that touched the hearts of many. Lee was a devoted patriot and servant to his country, having bravely served in the US Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. His dedication and commitment were unwavering as he selflessly served for over 20 years before retiring. His valor and sacrifice will forever be remembered and honored. Born to Jesse and Dora Carmean, Lee held his family close to his heart. He is now reunited with his wife Patricia of 50 years along with his beloved parents in eternal peace. Lee's legacy lives on through his surviving family members: his loving sons, James (Maggie) Carmean of Eustis, FL, Christopher Merrifield; dedicated daughter Kelly Carmean of Muskegon, MI; caring sister Shirley Buechele of Port Orange, FL; cherished grandchildren Robert Lee Carmean, Jesse James Loera, Dakota Loera, Brittany Carmean; and five adored great-grandchildren. Lee was very close to his great granddaughter Bailey who has many fond memories of "Papa", including remembering that his favorite colors were grey and black. Lee's presence brought warmth and joy to those around him. His kindness, loyalty, and strength left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Through both hardship and happiness, Lee remained a pillar of support for his family and friends. As we bid farewell to Lee in the physical realm, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life that exemplified resilience, honor, and love. May his spirit live on in our memories and may we find solace in the knowledge that he now rests in peace. Rest easy, dear Lee. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
