Dannie C. Turner

Dannie C. Turner, a beloved figure in the Mount Dora community, passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on April 8, 1953, in Eustis, Florida, he spent his formative years in the area, attending Mount Dora Public Schools, where he cultivated his love for the outdoors. As the proud owner of Dannie's Tractor Service in Mount Dora, Dannie dedicated much of his life to serving the local farming community. His expertise and commitment to his work left a lasting impact on those he served, earning him respect and admiration from friends and customers alike. Dannie was a man who reveled in the beauty of nature. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, pursuits that not only brought him personal fulfillment but also created cherished memories with family and friends. His love for adventure and exploration was evident in all aspects of his life. Dannie is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Kathy Turner, of Mount Dora, FL. He leaves behind two sons, Clay (Kristin) Turner of Umatilla, FL, and Chad (Miranda) Turner of Mount Dora, FL. He is also survived by his brothers, Randy Turner of Homosassa, FL, Ronnie Turner of Umatilla, FL, and Tony Turner of New Jersey, as well as his sister, Kathy Smalley of Georgia. Dannie's legacy continues with his six grandchildren, Peyton, Emilee, Logan, Nolan, Justin, and Hailee, who brought immense joy to his life. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 31, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at Harden Pauli Funeral Home located at 1617 South Bay Street, Eustis, FL 32726. This gathering will honor Dannie’s memory and provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together and remember the joy he brought into their lives. Dannie C. Turner will be remembered not just for his contributions to the community but also for his unwavering love for his family and the passions that shaped his life. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
