Christopher Marvin Holland

November 15, 1959 — June 24, 2025

Orlando, Florida

Christopher Marvin Holland, 65, of Central Florida, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Bobby Tyson & Mary Katherine McBryde Holland, he moved to Central Florida in 1978. He graduated from Florida State University, Go ‘Noles, and Stetson University College of Law. Chris dedicated the majority of his professional life to his work at Cape Canaveral as an attorney in the aerospace industry. His most notable title was that of Company Counsel for the US Space Station. Before retiring he concentrated on more personal law helping others with estate planning. Chris was also an avid model rocket hobbyist, former long distant cyclist and gymnastics coach. He took on life with extreme focus and tenacity. Chris Holland’s vibrant presence and kind spirit will be deeply missed. His sense of humor was unmatched and he could always be counted on to lighten the mood and make others laugh. His career and passions left a lasting impact on those around him. Chris also had great compassion for those less fortunate. He thrived when helping others and invested a great deal of energy to many in need in the Cocoa Beach area as a connector of resources as well as personally helping where he could. He truly wanted others to do well and he always tried to believe the best about others. He loved all of God’s creations, 2 legged and 4 legged. His first love was “Bob T.(the) Dog”, the first of many beasts over the years, which he has now joined. Among his most cherished accomplishments were his certifications to launch large model rocket engines (for 6+ feet models), his law degree, and his involvement securing free/comparable lunches for children in Brevard County Schools. His times with family, both biological and coastal, were his most cherished. To really know him was to love him and his huge heart for others. Chris is survived by his 2 daughters, Christie (Justin) Anderson of Florida, Brittany (Froilan) Ansa of Tennessee; brother, Mark Tyson (Beth) Holland of Virginia; sister, Amy Holland (Ennis) Pruitt of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Leo & Aria Ansa. He is also survived by nieces Katy White (Justin) and Megan Hoard (John) as well as his great nieces and nephews Avery & Ellie White and James & Henry Hoard. He will be missed by so many.
