Calvin H. Branscomb, 99, of Sarasota and formerly of Eustis, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025. Born in Griffithville, Arkansas, he moved to Eustis in 1996 from Murray, Kentucky. He was an automobile engineer and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eustis. Cal was also a 69-year member of the Masonic Lodge, 63-year member in the Scottish Rite and Shriners, 59-year member of the Eastern Star. He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Barbara Branscomb, Ely, Iowa; 3 daughters, Carol Ann (William) Sawyer, Bradenton, FL, Alpha Jean (Daryl) Haydon, Fairfield, OH, Janet M. Smith, Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren, Andrew Agee, Christina Sawyer, Matthew Sawyer, Janice Stone, Amy Haydon; 8 great-grandchildren, Azan Agee, Amara Agee, Makenzie Sawyer, Lillian Sawyer, William Sawyer, Aiden Stone, Ava Donna Stone, Isaac Klute. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Mary Jane Branscomb; daughter, Linda Susan Agee; grandson, Anthony Agee. Services will be held at the Sturm Chapel of First United Methodist Church, Eustis on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Friday evening from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM.
