Vivian J. Gates

Vivian J. Gates, 91, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019. Born in Warsaw, Indiana, she moved to Florida in 1992 from Strongsville, Ohio. She was a Head Cashier with Kroger Grocery prior to her marriage. She devoted her generous life to her family as a diligent wife and homemaker. Vivian’s family and friends remember her for her craftsmanship with ceramics, porcelain dolls and sewing doll clothes. She also enjoyed restoring antiques. Vivian was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Warsaw, IN. She is survived by her Husband of 70 years, Milo L. Gates of Leesburg, FL; Sons, Stephen E. Gates of Ridge Manor, FL, Michael A. Gates of North Ridgeville, OH and Brad L. Gates of Dayton, OH; Daughter, Janet S. Doak of Lakewood, OH; 16 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.
