Sylvia Mae Baker

Sylvia Mae Baker, 79, of Eustis, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017. Born in Whitefield, New Hampshire, she moved to Mount Dora in 1961 from Whitefield, New Hampshire. She was a Homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Sylvia was very active in Girl Scouts for many years. She took troops all over the world to, Canada, Mexico, London and several trips to Washington, DC. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Mervyn Baker of Eustis, FL; son, Michael R. (Sheila) Baker of Eustis, FL; brother, James Edwin (Sandy) Elliott of Osteen, FL; 2 sisters, Virginia Ann Glines of Whitefield, NH, Betty Frances (Don) Fissette of Berlin, NH; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
