Robert C. Janowicz

Robert C. Janowicz, 82, of Mount Dora, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Born in Queens, New York, he moved to Mount Dora in 1990 from Bethpage, NY. Robert served in the US. Army during Peace Time. He was a Customer Service Manager with the United Parcel Service prior to his retirement. Robert was of Roman Catholic faith and attended both St. Mary of the Lakes Catholice Church of Eustis, FL and St. Patrick Catholic Church of Mount Dora, FL. He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus; a member of the Bridgewater Community at Waterman Village of Mount Dora. He was a former member of the Silver Lake Golf and Country Club of Leesburg, FL. He is survived by his Son, Douglas Janowicz of Marco Island, FL; Daughter, Laureen (Jack) Bellissimo of East Northport, NY; and Grandchildren, Gregory and Kenneth Janowicz, Zachary, Alex and Christina Bellissimo. Services will be held Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 9:45 am at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 20 Cheshire Place, East Northport, NY 11731. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM -4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Brueggemann Funeral Home, 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport, NY 11731.
