Robert "Bob" Elige Pixton Jr.

Robert Elige "Bob" Pixton Jr., 67, of Mount Dora, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, he moved to Central Florida in 1985. He was a commercial flooring installer and was a member of the Astatula Baptist Church. Bob also served in the US Army during Vietnam ('68-'71). He is survived by his wife, Nancy Massingill of Mount Dora, FL; son, Robert Elige Pixton, III of New Smyrna Beach, FL; daughter, Julia Ann Pitzer of Longwood, FL; 4 grandchildren, Mason A. Pitzer, Emily J. Pitzer, Darek R. Pixton and Owen G. Pixton. A Military Graveside Service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, on Monday, August 28th, 2017 at 2:30 PM. A memorial service for Bob will be held at the Astatula Baptist Church, Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at 11:00 AM . Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
