Michael Thomas Mathis

Michael Thomas Mathis, 68, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. Born in Lubbock, Texas, he grew up in Chicago, IL and moved to Central Florida in 1979. He worked as a property acquisition agent for Orange County and was a member of the Eustis Moose Lodge. Michael served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Paul Ramsey, Cary, NC; brother, Scott Mathis, Ocoee, FL; sister, Laurie Lewis, Eustis, FL; 2 granddaughters, Elysia Ramsey, Kaia Ramsey; 2 nephews, Scott Mathis, Eric Mathis. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 9:30 AM. Military graveside services will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
