Marlies Charlotte Marie Short, 87, of Mount Dora, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Born in Rober, Germany to the late Heinrich & Lottie Brockmeyer, she moved to Eustis in 1968 from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She worked as a supervisor for Sunrise Arc and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Eustis. She is survived by her 2 sons, David Short, Eustis, FL, Dean Short, Leesburg, FL; daughter, Rosie Short, Paisley, FL; brother, Friedrich Brockmeyer, Germany; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
