Lawrence "Todge" Calhoun

Lawrence "Todge" Calhoun, 88, of Sorrento, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019. Born in Somerset, Kentucky, he moved to Florida in 1981 from Cincinnati, Ohio. He owned & operated a foliage nursery in Apopka, FL prior to his retirement. Larry was a member of the Neeley’s Creek Baptist Church in Burnside, KY and a life member of the N.R.A. Larry was proud to be a conservative republican. He served his country in the US Army during Korea. He is survived by his wife, Dessie E. Calhoun, Sorrento, FL; 3 sons, Gary (Karen) Calhoun, Eustis, FL, Jodie (Audrey) Calhoun, Burnside, KY, Dale (Lynn) Calhoun, Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Junie Haubner, Sorrento, FL; sister, Wanda Hargis, Somerset, KY; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. All services will be in Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice of Lake County, FL or to Neeley's Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Burnside, KY.
