John Wesley Long, Jr., 63, of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021. Born at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, he moved to Leesburg in 1992 from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He worked as a construction supervisor and frequently attended the VFW. John served his country in the US Navy. He is survived by his parents, John Wesley Long, Sr. & Glenda C. Long of Eustis, FL; son, Ian Long, Eustis, FL; 2 daughters, Erica (Christian) Schlank, Hahira, GA, Katelyn Long, New York, NY; sister, Sharon (Ban) Long, Tuscaloosa, AL; 2 grandchildren.
