James V. LeRoy

James V. LeRoy, 84, of Eustis, Florida, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. Jim was born in Marianna, Florida, to Vernon A LeRoy and Ada Alice (Nichols) LeRoy. He attended Purdue University and was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He graduated in 1959 and began working in a missile program at Cape Canaveral, Florida. He met Rosemary Harrison in Florida and they were married in Swainsboro, Georgia in 1960. They moved to Bartlett, Illinois in 1966 when Jim began flying for United Airlines. They moved to Eustis, Florida in 1996. Jim was a devoted husband, father, and friend to many. They were members of the First Baptist Church of Tavares and LifePointe Church in Eustis. Jim loved outdoor activities including water skiing, boating, camping, flying and hiking. Rosemary and Jim enjoyed visiting the many beaches in Florida. His real passion in life was activities with family. Jim is predeceased by his Wife, Rosemary LeRoy, and by his Son, Jim LeRoy. He is survived by his Son, Jeff LeRoy of Chicago, IL; Daughter, Pam (Scott) Silhavy of Leesburg, FL; Brother, John LeRoy of Pensacola, FL; Grandchildren-Josh, Luke, Tommy, Maegan, Krista, and Raymond. Services will be held at The Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel Eustis, on Monday November 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
