James A. Brumbaugh Sr.

James A Brumbaugh, Sr., 84, of Astatula, FL, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020. Born in Hartville, Ohio, he moved to Florida in 1974 from Ohio. He was a jack of all trades. He was the Former Mayor of Astatula, he was the owner operator of several businesses. James was of Jewish faith and was a member of Congregation Beth Sholom of Leesburg, Congregation Ohev Shalom of Maitland, and he also attended Family Bible Church of Eustis. James was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and the Army/Navy Garrison. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. James is preceded in death by his Parents, Albert and Lillian Brumbaugh. He is survived by his Son, James A. Brumbaugh, Jr.(Kelly) of Astatula; Daughters, Kathy Wishork (Mark) of Astatula and Susanne Brumbaugh of Astatula; Grandchildren, James A. Brumbaugh III (Erin) of Astatula; Dr. Sarah Brumbaugh, of St. Petersburg; Jacob Talbott (Jessica) of Ft. Gordon, Georgia; Celia Talbott Longacre (Joseph) of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Rachel Brumbaugh (Jack Larroque) of Astatula; Jacob and Whitney Wishork of Eustis. Great grandchildren, Bradley Brumbaugh and Leah Larroque of Astatula and Jayden, Aubrey, Kadence, Emilia, Micah and Jasmine of Eustis. Sister, Nancy Allison, Hartville. Numerous extended family and friends. Private interment will be held at the Astatula Cemetery. Public services be scheduled at a later time.
