Gladys Louise Mauldin

Gladys Louise Mauldin, 89, of Mount Dora, FL passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Born in Coffee County, Alabama, she moved to Howey in the Hills in 1957 from Lake Wales, Florida She was a Fruit Packer working in the Citrus Industry and prior to her retirement she worked with High school students in the cafeteria. Gladys was member of the First Baptist Church of Tangerine for 40 years and was strong in her Faith. Gladys is predeceased by her husband, Horace S. Mauldin, Sr. and daughter, Bonnie Adkinson. She is survived by Sons, Horace "Junior" Mauldin, Jr. (Marie) of Astatula, FL, Ray Mauldin (Karen) of Belleview, FL; Daughters, Doris Adkins (Edna) of Inverness, FL, Kay Cardenas (Juan) of Astatula, FL, Patricia L. Cordle of Elizabethtown, NC, Charlotte Marie Rooney of Paisley, FL; Sisters, Elouise Goodman (Paul) of Melbourne, FL, Peggy Sue Henderson of Alabama; 18 Grandchildren and 34 Great-Grandchildren and 28 Great Great Grandchildren. Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Tangerine on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell at 12:30 PM.
