George Daniel "Dan" Newman

George Daniel "Dan" Newman, 67, of Paisley, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 3, 2021. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he retired to Paisley in 2016 after spending nearly 30 years in the Florida Keys. He worked for the State of Florida, DMS as the Facilities Maintenance Manager in Marathon and ran his own business on Big Pine Key for 15 years. Dan served in the US Army in the early 70’s and loved his country. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lynn Newman, Paisley, FL; 2 brothers, William Eugene (Rose) Newman, Jr., Baltimore, MD, Paul Clayton (Julie) Newman, Baltimore, MD; 3 sisters, Linda (Lee) Depkin, Conyers, GA, Wanda (Joe) Gresko, Montpelier, VA, Pat Kesler, Acworth, GA; and his 2 rescue pups, Ollie & Shadow.
