Gail E. West, 86, of Mount Dora, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021. Born in Herminie #2, in Pennsylvania, she moved to Orlando in 1954, then to Lake County in 1972. She was a Publisher, a born again Christian and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Tavares. Gail is survived by her 2 sons, Rev. David L. Smalley, Sebring, FL, Grant C. West, Plantation, FL; 4 daughters, Cheryl Stoffel, Mount Dora, FL, Kathleen Pawlowski, Toledo. OH, Karen Short, Tampa, FL, Gwen Granade, Deland, FL; brother, Dean Highberger, Lady Lake, FL; 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Thursday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
