Eldina Heinrich

January 26, 1926 — September 23, 2018

Eldina Heinrich, 92, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. She was born near Streeter, North Dakota to Fred and Eva (Stotz) Flemmer, and was raised on the family farm near Streeter. She graduated from Sheyenne River Academy, a secondary boarding school near Harvey, North Dakota, in 1944. After teaching school for one year, Eldina married Arthur “Art” Heinrich of Gackle, North Dakota. They farmed near Gackle until their retirement, subsequently moving to Jamestown, North Dakota, then later, in 2001, to central Florida. Eldina was a homemaker and a member of the Umatilla Seventh-day Adventist Church in Umatilla, FL. She enjoyed family, music, and being involved in church activities, and she and her husband, Arthur, sang in the church choir. Eldina is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Eva Flemmer; husband, Arthur Heinrich; brother, Herbert Flemmer; and sisters, Leona Miller and Alvina Heitzmann. She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Tom) Werner of Eustis, FL and Cindy (Bruce) Darcy of Golden Valley, ND; sons, Milo (Roxy) Heinrich of Yucaipa, CA and Arlo (Sharon) Heinrich of Zephyrhills, FL; sisters, Edna Hollenbeck of Bessemer, MI and Olga Rodin of Jamestown, ND; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. CDT at the Jamestown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1201 4th St NE, Jamestown, North Dakota.
