Dorothy Lewis

Dorothy Jean Lewis, 95, of Eustis, Florida, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022. Born in Ravenswood, West Virginia, Dorothy moved to Eustis in 2008 from Mason, West Virginia. She was of Methodist Faith. Dorothy retired as a School Teacher after 42 years serving in the West Virginia Public School System. She was in the VFW Auxillary of Post 8087 of Mount Dora, Florida and was a member of The Military Order of the Cootie of the United States Auxillary Pup Tent 36. Dorothy is predeceased by her husbands Carl Pyatt (1958) and Russell Lewis (1993). She is survived by her Son, Chester Pyatt of Eustis, FL; Grandchildren, Andrea Pyatt of Fruitland Park, FL, Chester Pyatt II of Longwood, FL, and Jeffrey Pyatt of Tavares, FL; Great Grandchildren, Bruce Jr, Delaney, Jeffrey, and Leighton. Interment will be held at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, FL Services are private. Memorial donations may be made to Umatilla Middle School in Dorothy's name in leu of Flowers.
