Donald Carl Burianek

Donald Carl Burianek, 81, of Mount Dora, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he moved to Florida in 1979. He was a Printer for many years before his retirement. He was also a longtime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mount Dora. Don was a proud member of the US Navy, having served on the USS Coral Sea CVA-43. Having no biological children of his own, Don took great pride in raising his grandchildren, Troy Kern and Gina (Kern) Sperrazza. Don is preceded in death by his parents, James and Loretta Burianek; brother James Burianek; and sister Virginia Beehler. He is survived by his wife, Carol R. Bonnet Godlove Burianek, Mount Dora, FL; stepdaughters, Brenda Nicola, Altamonte Springs, FL; Linda Godlove of Virginia; Anita Godlove Combs, Orlando, FL; stepsons Michael Godlove, Lake Panasoffkee, FL, and Stephen Godlove, Sr., Apopka, FL; 9 grandchildren, Troy Kern, Gina (Scott) Sperrazza, Robert Berger, Brandy Combs, Travis Combs, Stephen Godlove, Jr., Ashley Godlove, Jennifer Kappus, and Pam (Todd) Hetrick; great-grandchildren Bryce Sperrazza, Garrett Sperrazza, Alexis Chambers, Ryan Kern, Kryon Conners, Jackson Frank, Alexander Combs, Makyla Manahan, Raelyn Nazworth, Colton Murphy, Stephen Godlove III, Michael Hetrick, and Andrew Hetrick; and great-great-grandson Adrian Johnson. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Friday, August 3rd at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery, Mount Dora. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:00pm till 2:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice, in Don’s name.
