Clara M. Hewett, 91, of Grand Island, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019. Born in Lafayette, Tennessee, she moved to Grand Island in 1970 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was the kitchen manager at First Baptist Church, Eustis for many years. Clara was a member of Grand Island Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Mike Hewett, Eustis, FL; daughter, Patty Woellmer, Grand Island, FL; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services will be held at Grand Island Baptist Church, Grand Island on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 12:00 Noon. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10:00 AM till 12:00 Noon.
