Athal "Hank" Burdette Henry

Athal Burdette "Hank" Henry, 91, of Tavares Fl, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019. Born in New Lexington, Ohio, Hank moved to Tavares Fl in 2010 from New Bern, NC. Hank was a Telecommunications Engineer for the General Telephone Co. for 40 years prior to his retirement. Hank was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Eustis, FL and was a long time member of the BPOE Elks Lodge in Erie. PA. Hank was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his wife and sons, creating stained glass pieces and "fixing" anything that was broken. He is survived by his four sons, Doug (Sandi) Henry of New Port Richey, FL, Tim (Meridyth) Henry of Leesburg, FL, Tom (Diane) Henry of St. Pete Beach, FL and Bob (Jaffa) Henry of Durham, NC; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. He is predeceased by his Wife, Colleen Henry; Sister, Maxine Wells and Grandson Travis Henry. Grave side services will be held at Lakeside Memory Gardens 36601 County Rd 19A, Eustis Fl, 32726 on June 25th @ 11:00am.
