Arthur B. Porter

Arthur B. Porter, 70, of Daytona Beach Shores, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. Born in Greenville, Florida, he moved to Eustis in 1973 from Greenville, FL. Art served with distinction in his career as a State Farm Agent in Eustis, Florida. He was appointed as an agent in on April 1, 1975 serving policyholders in Lake County for almost 44 years. His career and service was significant and noteworthy as he earned 44 separate company awards during his career. These awards included The President’s Club award during 5 of those years. The Presidents Club Award recognizes the top 50 agents in all of State Farm across the entire United States for their service to customers. He will be dearly missed by his State Farm friends, colleagues, associates and customers for the man he was. Art served in the Army during Vietnam. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Trisha Porter, Daytona Beach Shores, FL; 2 sons, Robert Mosley, Fruitland Park, FL, Shane Porter, Eustis, FL; 2 daughters, Vanessa Burke, Lewisville, TX, Amber Ask, Melbourne, FL; 3 brother, Rudolph Porter, Kenneth Porter, John Porter; 4 sisters, Eileen Martin, Darlene Bland, Lavon Tharp, Ludy Porter; 7 grandchildren. A celebration of Art's life will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Arthur B.
