Roy Lee Vaughn Jr.

Roy L. Vaughn Jr., 82, of Eustis, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014. Born in Berwyn, Illinois, he moved to Eustis in 1989 from Western Springs, IL. He was an Engineer Supervisor with Bell Telephone of Illinois prior to his retirement. Roy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eustis. Roy served in United States Naval Reserve. He is survived by Wife - Vonna J. Vaughn of Eustis, FL; Sons - David B. Vaughn of Batavia, IL and Mark D. Vaughn of Pinehurst, NC; Daughter - Vicki L. Verkaik of Eustis, FL; Sisters - Helen L. Lotz of Downers Grove, IL and Virginia Sodt of Berwyn, IL; and 9 Grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Inurnment will be at Pine Forest Cemetery, Mount Dora. Memorial donations may be made to Voice of the Martyrs or to First Baptist Church, Post Office Box 129, Eustis, FL 32727.
