Michael Roger Howard

Michael Roger Howard, 68, of Inverness, went to Heaven on Friday, January 16, 2015. Born in Toccoa, Georgia, he was a lifelong resident of Lake County. Mike had many business endeavors throughout his life. He owned Zack Workman Insulation and was a co-owner of Lake Glass & Mirror. Later in his career, he was a Real Estate Broker. Mike was also an avid creative writer. He published, Stick, in 2010. When not working, he loved to be outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Mike was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Becky Howard, Inverness, FL; son, Glen Howard (Debbie), Fernandina Beach, FL; daughter, Angie Hughes (Bill), Eustis, FL; 3 brothers, Roy Howard, Brandon, FL, Jim Howard, Clayton, Georgia, Rick Howard (Leslie), Vero Beach, FL; sister, Brenda Adams (Gary), Greenville, SC; 3 grandchildren, Courtney, Trevor & Tyler; 4 great-grandchildren, Cailyn, Camdyn, Audrey and Peyton. Per Mike's request, there will not be a service. Memorial donations can be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
