Lee Nau Richards

Lee Nau Richards, 76, of Mount Dora, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares. Born in Ridgeway, North Carolina on February 2, 1938, she moved to Central Florida in 2000 from San Diego, California. Lee attended Concordia University in Chicago and received her Master's Degree in Education from the University of Vermont. She taught school in Delray Beach, FL, Middlebury, CT and San Diego, CA She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Eustis where she was active with the Ladies Guild and the Lutherans Women's Missionary League. Lee is survived by her husband, Philip E. Richards, Mount Dora, FL; 3 sisters, Helen Robinson, Richmond, VA, Ruth (Tom) Lewis, Yalaha, FL, Elisabeth (Ike) Koontz, Glen Allen, VA; 4 nieces and 7 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad Henry and Louise Hecht Nau; brother, Harold H. Nau. Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, Eustis on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ridgeway, NC.
