Joseph John Williams

Joseph J. Williams, 89, of Eustis, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Eustis in 1985 from Bettendore, Iowa. Joseph was an Explosives Engineer prior to his retirement. He was a member of the St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis. Joseph served in the Army for over 14 years, achieving the rank of Major, and is a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his Wife of 61 years, Blanche L. Williams of Eustis, FL; Son, Dennis Williams of Bethlehem, GA; Daughter, Margaret Mattice of Green Bay, WI; and 4 Grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
