Joseph "Joe" John Mellon Jr.

Joseph "Joe" J. Mellon Jr., 70, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he moved to Leesburg in 1999 from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Prior to Joe's retirement he was an Electrical Designer for 34 years at Atlantic City Electric Company. Joe Served in the Army National Guard and was of Catholic Faith. In retirement he was a member of the Mid Florida Lakes Boat Club and was active in many of the HOA activities. He is survived by his Wife, Marianne E. Mellon; Daughter, Christine C. Mellon of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; Sister, Jean Wadley of Philadelphia, PA; Sister-in- Law Carolyn Sheridan, VA. Nieces Donna (Doug) Dare, FL, Kelly (Jeff) Bateman, VA, Karen Sheridan, NY. and Katie (Steve) Brennan, Calif. Nephews Greg and Brian (Linda) Wadley. Philadelphia PA. He is predeceased by his Nephew, Kevin Wadley, Brother-in-Laws Donald Wadley and Robert Sheridan. Memorial Services will be held at Mid Florida Lakes Clubhouse, Leesburg, FL, January 25, 2015 at 2:30.
